Living Like The Divine Son
☞Bible tells us in Philippians 2:7, “But [Christ Jesus] made himself of No reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was mad in the likeness of men.” This Bible verse, hasn’t necessarily emerged on most believers. Inaccurately thinking the Divine Son of Man (Jesus) was able to work wonders, perform miracles and live above sin because he had divine powers we don’t posses. Consequently, they have yet to Live like the Divine Son.
☞ “We could never live like the Divine Son, because he had the advantage being God”, they say.
☞What is not grasped, is that when The Divine Son came to earth, He willingly gave up that advantage, living his life here not as God but as a man. He had no distinctive supernatural powers. He had no capability to perform miracles until after He was anointed by the Holy Sprit as validated in Luke 3:22. Here, He worked wonders! Not by His own power, but by the power of the father, stating in prayer that, “The Farther that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works” (John 14:10).
☞When He prayed, He prayed not as a divine One who had authority as God, but rather a man who walked Obediently with God. “His prayers were heard not because of His divinity, but because of His reverence (Devotion) towards God” (Hebrews 5:7). The Divine Son, set aside the privileges and powers of immortality for a time and lived as a man on earth. Once you grasp that, it will undeniably tremble your soul. Why you ask? It means that you, as a reborn child of God, filled with the same Holy Spirit as Jesus was, have the same opportunity to live as He lived on earth. That is what He wants for us! “Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world” (John 17:18)
☞The Divine Son, has sent you into the world to live as He lived. Through the new birth, He’s enabled you to swap the sinful nature of Adam for the sinless nature of God. He’s given you the capability and the authority to live above sin. To live in fellowship with the Father! To speak the gospel! To heal the sick bodies! To raise the dead minded! To cast out demons and to make disciples!
☞Once you realize that, you will throw off the shackles of doubt that have held you back. You will begin to live as The Divine Son meant for you to live. Not as a sin-rider son of fallen man, but as a reborn child of the Most High God. Then, everyone around you will actually begin to see Jesus inside you.
